OUT for Sustainability invites you to celebrate local sustainable food production with our feature October event, Tuesday the 27th at 5:30p. The owner of Field Roast Grain Meat Co., a nationally known and distributed vegetarian meat company, will be giving a personally guided tour of their factory. After the tour we'll have a short facilitated discussion of local food production with our small group of 25 guests.
Along with a tasting of the Field Roast line of products, we'll have dinner provided by Chaco Canyon Organic Cafe featuring Field Roast Rubens and salad by Terra Organics. Look below for desriptions of these 3 sustainable, local and LGBTQ friendly companies.
The factory is located in Seattle's International District, on Jackson Street near 14th.
