This year’s festival marks a return to Capitol Hill’s Egyptian Theatre, the site of Opening Night and a week’s worth of screenings and events. Other venues will include Northwest Film Forum, West Seattle’s Admiral Theatre, Central Cinema, and a closing weekend at Cinerama. The largest event of its kind in the Pacific Northwest, the festival continues to gain industry and audience recognition for showcasing the latest and greatest in queer film, from major motion picture premieres to emerging talent. Local filmmakers are given special attention through programs and projects such as the Super 8 Film Challenge.Join us for ten days and nights of LGBT film, video, and fun. Our full schedule will be revealed mid-September.
Looks like Capitol Hill is getting a second helping of Doghouse Leathers! They are setting up shop between the vacuum repair shop and Old School Frozen Custard.
From the flyer:
DOGHOUSE LEATHERS will be opening their 2nd location in this space in early November. Please visit our other store located inside the Cuff Complex at 13th and E. Pine. That shop is open Fri/Sat nights.

Lets hope their hours aren't limited to Friday and Saturday to help us quench our weekday fetishes. :)
Support this year's is the 23rd annual Seattle AIDS Walk! The event starts in Volunteer park and has several routes (for running, walking... even a virtual walk!). If you are not able or interested in walking/running in the event, you can always volunteer! This is a great event that benefits our friends at Lifelong AIDS Alliance. The walk is immediately followed by an after party.
One such event is a gay belly dancing party at Harem at the end of Broadway. Be sure and check it out!
